Urgent appeal for bedding and food for Staffie Smiles Resue

Urgent appeal for bedding and food for Staffie Smiles Resue

Hi my name is Charlie and I am asking for help from the good people of Leuchars.  Anyone who knows me will know how passionate I am about animal welfare.  I strongly believe that there is no excuse for any animal to be mis-treated or neglected.  But unfortunately a lot of people do not have these ethics, resulting in hundreds of animals either becoming strays or being  mistreated and taken into rescue centres.
I currently volunteer for “staffie smiles”, a registered charity organisation that rehome staffies.  All foster families and forever families are vetted, to make sure they understand the implications of having one of these beautiful  animals.
Staffies have such a terrible reputation, which is very misguiding.  They are loyal loving compassionate and intelligent.  When you have gained the trust of a staffie you will for ever have ‘mans best friend’.  This breed is very misunderstood, when all they really want it a loving home environment and lots of TLC.
Staffie smiles take in as many dogs as possible.  If a dog is left in a pound for more than 7 days  they will be euthanized, through no fault of their own, that is how I came to have my beautiful  Roxi.
Staffie Smiles Recue rely completely on public support, so please help if you can.  If you have any old bedding that you no longer want or need then please let a staffie have it as comfortable bed which he or she can use whilst they wait for their forever home, and maybe a treat to eat aswell.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I will be travelling down to Edinburgh to the kennel  at the end of the month,  if you do wish to help please bring items to Vron in the hive.

Thank you again
Charlie and Roxi
